Waterjet Machine Operator – Amatech Inc.
Location: Columbus, OH
Amatech is looking for experienced Waterjet Machine Operators to join our team! We are looking for candidates who have experience and good expertise with waterjets. This person should also possess qualities such as being a team player, good communication skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
What You’ll Do, Primary Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup / Programming / Operation: Reading drawings, loading programs, setting parameters (pressure and speed), and loading materials. Starting/stopping the machine, monitoring the cutting process, and making real-time adjustments.
- Quality Control: Inspecting cut parts with precision tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications and perform necessary adjustments.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on the machine with the ability to change machine parts when needed.
- Documentation: Assist in completing production logs, parts inventory, and other required paperwork.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Following all safety protocols and keeping work area clean and organized.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience operating a waterjet machine required. Experience in a manufacturing setting is helpful and additional technical training or certifications can be a plus.
- Technical: Understanding CAD/CAM software, using measuring tools.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for precision cutting and inspection of cut parts.
- Collaboration: Working with supervisors, engineers, and other shop personnel. Ability to follow instructions, work with your hands, and lift certain weights required.
- On-site work required in Columbus, OH
What We Offer:
- Competitive Base hourly pay starting at $20 per hour. “Starting wage negotiable and will be dependent on overall experience and expertise”

Production Shift Supervisor/Lead – Amatech Inc.
Location: Columbus, OH
We are looking to add to our Production Management team a candidate with experience in supervision of a manufacturing setting. This person should possess qualities such as great communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and oversee a shift production floor operation.
What You’ll Do, Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise, monitor, support, and provide guidance to production staff (floor leads, associates, etc.).
- Follow the plan and organize production associates for the production shift.
- Monitor machine and material resources to ensure continued production and minimize downtime.
- Monitor that production output meets all quality standards.
- Understand and enforce quality standards and health and safety protocols.
- Understand and assist in reporting key production measurables and metrics for your shift.
- All and any actions are taken with respect to Amatech’s core values.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Being a leader of the production team, which includes working closely with Management, Floor Leads, and Associates.
- Proven experience in Production supervision to monitor production and associates.
- Have good communication, ambition, and willingness to work with others to create solutions to any challenges that may arise, and the ability to make strong decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software to help support the production process.
- On-site work required in Columbus, OH.
- Experience with CNC machines a plus.

Production Associate – Amatech Inc.
Location: Columbus, OH & Erie, PA
We are looking to add a qualified candidate to our Production team with the ability to operate machinery, assemble products, and perform various production tasks in a manufacturing setting. This person should possess qualities such as being a team player, good communication skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
What You’ll Do, Primary Responsibilities:
- Working on all production floor tasks requested, required, or needed in a manufacturing setting that will include machine operation, use of hand tools, and simple hands-on assembly.
- When assigned to a machine or area, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe area during its use.
- At any time, you may be required to prepare materials for production, assemble and package products, keep track of materials supply inventory, and/or guide/train other associates. These tasks may include the use of hand tools or just simple hand assembly.
- Understand quality standards and health and safety protocols.
- All and any actions are taken with respect to Amatech’s core values.
Required Skills:
- Becoming a part of the Production team by having qualities such as good communication and teamwork skills including good attendance and being punctual.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is helpful, and additional technical training or certifications can be a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and capable of performing tasks such as operating machinery, working with your hands, and lifting certain weights.
- On-site work required in Columbus, OH and Erie, PA.
